“A bottle of wine contains
more philosophy than all the books in the world.”
Moldova is a country with a fertile land. Generations of talented winemakers crafted wine with dedication, through centuries. Shaped as a bunch of grapes, Moldova is situated in the South-East of Europe, between Ukraine and Romania, located at 46-47˚ suitable for production of quality wines just like other famous wine regions in Europe.
Vindicum Winery is located in the center of Moldova, a few kilometers away from Chisinau, near the city of Straseni. The winery was founded in 1963 as a state-owned enterprise with the main objectives of bottling and exporting wines produced in the central area of Moldova, in 1989 becoming a joint stock company and in 1996 becoming a private company turning into a family business.
Favorable climate, fertile soil and hilly terrain created suitable conditions for the cultivation of quality grapes. Controlling all processes from grape cultivation, wine fermentation, maturation in oak barrels and bottling, Vindicum offers quality wines made of local and international varietals such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Muscat, Riesling and Feteasca Alba.
